For each itemized hospital bill you submit to us, we do the following:

• Conduct a thorough examination of the bill to uncover overcharges and to determine whether a complete audit of the bill is warranted.

•  Pay for the cost, if any, of acquiring a photocopy of the patient's medical records.

•  Compare the charges listed in the bill with the information contained in the medical records to uncover more overcharges.

•  Negotiate with the appropriate hospital representative(s) to remove from the bill all overcharges that we uncover during the course of the audit.

•  Prepare a report based upon the results of the audit and deliver it to you in a timely manner.

You get to keep many thousands of dollars that you would otherwise throw away because of hospital overcharges.

You gain peace of mind from knowing that hospitals are no longer overcharging you.

You pay us only when we save you money; you pay us a portion of the money that we save you.

You never have any unreimbursed expenses related to our service.

You provide the participants in your health plan with new benefits that cost you nothing: if they make co-payments, lower out-of-pocket costs because of lower hospital bills and, if they pay a portion of their health care premiums, the potential for lower premiums in the future (or at least smaller increases in the premiums).

You eliminate their potential worries about the confidentiality of their medical records and your worries about the possibility of lawsuits alleging violation of their privacy, because we are independent consultants who guarantee confidentiality.

How we are compensated

Our fee is fifty percent of the amount by which we reduce each hospital bill that we audit for you. If you have a contractual discount with a hospital, our fee is adjusted accordingly.

You pay us after our negotiations with the hospital are completed and the overcharges that we uncover during our audit are removed from the bill.
